A funny and touching coming-of-age story, THE PERKS OF BEING A WALLFLOWER is a modern classic that captures the dizzying highs and crushing lows of high school. Freshman Charlie (Logan Lerman) is a perpetual wallflower until he falls under the spell of the beautiful, free-spirited Sam (Emma Watson) and her fearless stepbrother, Patrick (Ezra Miller); together, the trio navigates love, loss, fear, hope – and the quest for the perfect song – in this unforgettable adaptation of Stephen Chbosky’s beloved novel.

This movie is so underrated i love it so much i wish it was recognized more
“I don’t want to be somebody’s crush. I want people to like the real me.” Story of my life!
I’m such a simp for Logan Lerman
I want friends like this ngl lol
Silly Lol
The song that Charlie listened to in the tunnel was "Heroes" by David Bowie. It is a perfect representation of the movie. Charlie, an introvert, wishes he could talk to Sam. He wishes everything could go his way. He wishes that he could talk to her. But when he finally does, he messes up his entire world. So, Charlie, wishes he could be a hero, be the best, just for one day. Just for one day.
in pain.
Omg Everytime i Watch it i cry
introverts feel this movie on a different level
26:45 "We could be heroes just for one day."
I enjoyed this
I watched this as a teen at 15, and now as an adult, at 26, this is still a healing film.
That's the thing about pain , it demands to be felt"
Loved this so much 😭
I’m in high school myself, though homeschooled and I can definitely relate to the main character a lot. I wish I could be cool and confident like his friends but I’m constantly fidgeting and second guessing myself and anxious and I hate dances. I have a best friend but I’ve never felt welcomed into a friend group like Charlie’s friends. It makes me happy to see Charlie making good friends like these. I think it’s one of the movies that doesn’t surgarcoat how high school is, even if I don’t go to a public one (thank god because I don’t think I could haha)
this was a superterific movie that looked at things we dont necessarily like to look at but did it in a nonapologetic innocent way that allows a viewer to not be defensive but see their own pain in the story we tell ourselves of who we are andgives us a hall pass to forgive ourselves and heal too. what an inspiational piece of art i am truly thankful for. many blessings
Man, Ezra was so amazing in this film. It's very sad to see what they turned into…
i think patrick is a very underrated character, no character has ever touched my soul like he has. I was just like him, getting through the sadness i felt by distracting myself with my friends problems or making sure everyone around me is enjoying themselves. but there comes a time where there’s nothing left to fix, no one else to cheer up and all your left with is yourself and your pain, and your problems that you neglected in order to please others.
💘
a movie i think everyone needs to watch at least once on their lives

White high schools are so strange. Thank god I went to a high school where whites were 1% of the student population
Thanks for the free movie too bad every time an ad pops up it's ten times the decibel level of the rest of the movie
"And in that moment, I swear we were infinite."
This movie is very good but if you guys like books, I recommend reading the book, a very good book.

Beautiful storyline and great actors. I ended this movie very satisfied.
having a bad day at school and coming home to watch this masterpiece
1:19:40 Pink tools are much less attractive to thieves. Makes perfect sense in a school setting where other teachers often forget to return the tools they "loaned" and other (non-pink) tools just disappear.
I finished this movie crying my eyes out. This movie is so real. I can't describe it
give me the timestamp of your favorite moment and I'll rate it out of 10 on my Instagram
