Been getting really good listening recs from you lately. Thank you! From last video, been really enjoying Recycler today. Really overlooked that one. Billy sounds great!
Since You've Been Gone was a minor Top 40 hit in 1987, reaching #31. It was also a #11 Album Rock radio hit.
Don't forget Pages the band before Mr. Mister. It included Mr. Mister members Page and keyboardist Steve George.
R.I.P. Jeff Beck. Another rock legend has passed. Sad to hear about this. Media ignored it, too. Unbelievable!
The 3 Pages albums that pre date, Mr Mister are worth picking up, they have a more westcoast feel.
Do u dig any Death Metal???
👍
Ricks songs State of the Heart and my Fathers Chair about his fathers passing are wonderful songs, so glad that you are discovering his music.
Streetheart is/was a great band. Have everyone on vinyl. The band started in Regina Saskatchewan and both Paul Dean and Matt Frenette(later Loverboy)started in this band. The band also write the original "Hot Cherie" that everyone has covered(hardline for exemple)through the years.
Great video. Fun fact: Richard Page actually sang background vocals on Motley Crue's "Shout at the Devil"
Some great stuff. I picked up a few Christmas albums. That’s about it.
My Japanese is rusty at best nowadays, but the OBI for I Wear The Face does indeed say 2016 remaster.
Two new ones for me so far this week:
Cold Sweat – Break Out (one-album band, JP reissue)
Femme Fatale – S/t (Rock Candy edition)
Steve Winwood's lps from the 90's and 00's are awesome, fairly dense rhythmically: About Time, 9 Lives, Junction 7. Very polyrhythmic. All deep cuts. No singles really.
Arc of A Diver is a really good album. "While You See A Chance" makes that album for me.
While You See A Chance, great Steve Winwood song. My high school anthem for getting out of a small-minded Conservative New England town.
Finally got the new Leatherwolf cancel it on Amazon because it kept on getting back order I found it on eBay. And I got a Powerwolf CD.
great video as always. 🤘
Still hoping for an AOR video at some point. Think lots of viewers would enjoy hearing about your favorite AOR albums and some lesser-known hidden gems. Have a good one, Brendon!
