12 years a slave wannabe. The Chris Rock slap had better drama.
they keep doing movies about slavery unh
This film was heart wrenching
Amazing performance by Will Smith.
This film is doing terribly at the box office which came as a real slap in the face to Will.
One cliche after another left me feeling like this movie is insincere at best. Instead of being a poignant, fact based historical drama like "12 Years a Slave", "Amistad", or even "Glory" it played out more like an action flick like "Rambo". And, I'm not sure what accent Will Smith was doing because it was a sorry excuse for Haitian. I knew a lot of Haitian people when I lived in Florida, and none of them sounded like Gerard Depardieu.
Sounds terrible to say but the trailer wouldn’t look out of place in the tropic thunder universe.
Forever Live The Union! 🇪🇺
Where's the slap scene?
Please think about this, now that the academy association has put ten year sanction on will smith, the trouble there in lies, every time another academy award nominee goes up and wins the academy award everybody will say that same year Will Smith's movie that he did, Will Smith was best actor that year, or that movie, Will Smith is that caliber of an actor he'll be a contender and almost every movie he does, case in point is the movie, I am legend , he did, after he had to take his dog's life, he gets induced on pain medication, and is in the video store, and he's going in to say hello to a mannequin, he is wasted, but yet extremely grieving over the loss of his dog, if you watch Will Smith acting there, as maybe Petty as it may seem of a movie that was probably mediocre in some people's mind, Will Smith's acting right there in that moment in the video store is phenomenal, my point is even just that, puts Will Smith as a contender, now again, anybody that's up for an academy award and receives the academy award, it will be said that Will Smith if he was able to get an academy award that year, would have won it, here's the dilemma . Maybe the academy award association and the production association of the Oscars should have known what Chris Rock's rhetoric, dialect, or what he planned on doing and saying or targeting who?? And maybe rehearsed a little bit more that way this would have never even happened, to rob an actor of his potential to win academy award based on inept academy award management is not right, but that's okay like I say and I feel, when it's time for academy awards next year and whoever the best actor or supporting actor is being considered, and Will Smith doesn't get it for his movies everybody will say well Will Smith should have gotten it and could have won it if he had been eligible, and what's really interesting is that's probably a hundred percent accurate,.
Thank you GOD
I honestly can't look at his face anymore. All I see is anger, hate and slap. I used to watch his movies over and over again. Now I feel disgusted just looking at him. I can never take him seriously as an actor ever again..
Will Smith is a legend.
He has consistently grown and learned and gotten better at his craft.
He is in the pantheon of greatest to ever do it..
Enough with the slave movies
Looks like a good movie, I don't have apple tv tried to get it but it was a failure, I'll just wait…
He presented the Best Picture win for 12 Years A Slave and now he’s in a movie about slaves
“Inspired by a true story” The SLAP in the face to Chris is more realistic than this movie, they should make one too.
Frikin awesome movie!!! 5 stars
Lol blackpanther
slappin will!
THIS WAS A GREAT MOVIE!!!! WELL DONE WILL!!!
This looks like a good movie but unfortunately Will Smith the person will over shadow this film I don't think I can watch it without thinking about him slapping Chris Rock every time I see you maybe I'll watch it some years down the road
I saw this movie last night. It’s just in general will smith movies lacks Oscar punch and depth. Quite honest, this one has nothing notable to watch
S L A P
Love me some will smith movie going to be watching it
Did the slap man do a good job?
I loved the scene where he said "Keep my wife's name out your f*cking mouth!" and then slapped Chris Rock in front of Chris Rock´s daughters and Jada laughed
Will Smith has been thru a lot lately but I’m still a fan of this man he is truly one the most gifted ACTORS ALIVE and the fact that y’all tryna tie this movie into what he did at the Oscar’s is absolutely LUDICROUS like DAMN y’all acting like Will and Chris aren’t gonna eventually make amends and then do a movie in return and then probably joke about the slap I’m not saying what Will did was cool as a fan I took Chris’s side he did not have to slap that man and I’ll say it to his face if I ever get the chance too his actions and his talent are two different things we as people need to wake up to what’s really goin on
Damn bro trailer made me cry
Wow, simply wow! What a great movie! Stellar performance from Will! I don't understanding the low rating this movie is getting! You may not have liked the slap, but you can't deny that Will Smith is a phenomenal actor! Even if the script do not match actual events 100% (no one knows how Peter truly survived the swamps anyways), Fuqua's rendition is epic. 100/10, just watch it.
The last movie Ben Foster ever gets hired for
теперь похоже в присутствии не гров и свистеть нельзя будет😂😂😂😂😂
This movie Slaps
The dogs are beautiful.
What happened with the accent?
You couldn’t pay me enough money to watch this lousy, phony actor. First, he’s way overrated as an actor. Second, he’s an arrogant pos w giant ears. Third, I guarantee everyone that this movie is a bore fest. Let me know if I’m wrong after you watch it (only problem is I won’t see your comments)
are ppl going to boycott will smith?
Will Smith's "celebrity" personality gets in the way of his acting. I can't see him as a character, it's just Will Smith. That's fine for a comedy or action movie but not a drama, not for a movie as important as this.
We already have Roots – Enough of this already, sheesh!
Aww
Bruh he ain’t never gonna escape that slap
I'm so down to watch this movie it looks so good. He is a great actor
Wow!!! Here we go again. Another portrayal of the so called black man in America. Being constantly reminded of how America wants us to see ourselves. With all the antisemitism conversations. Confusion at its best. Of course it's looks good, but is it good for us? Constantly being stuck in a loop of PTSD. where is the True freedom or what we believe is liberty. African dialect to further push us away from True Hebrews. Enough said. We should get sick of the exploitation and entertainment of our struggles, oppression and lack of reparations. I don't want anything from this country, one I used to proud of. God and His Son has emancipated me. The Truth makes us free. I love everyone, but I hate this. Grace and Peace to you all. In Jesus name.
This seems more epic than the one he won an Oscar for. Wow! Will!
Another slave movie. Sheesh.
It took African Americans a long time & hard life to get to the level Smith & Rock are on, stage at the Oscars. Will Smith slapped Chris rock, unfortunately just like a slave master used to slap his African American slaves. And then stars in a movie where the theme is around slavery.. Will Smith is a demented mental weirdo. Can't make this up folks..
This definitely looks like an Oscar winner for him. But it won't happen because of his behavior at the past award show.
Looks like a really good movie !! Probably the reason there's been so much attention on Will Smith lately, especially after the Oscar's earlier this year. He definitely is a good actor, albeit with anger issues.
So good it'll make you slap Jada!
Why did he not slap his masta.
